The LabWare LIMS Recipe Manager can manage kit "recipes" based on the specimen collection and transport materials that are specified in trial. Trials, in turn, may be specified and controlled using the the LabWare Clinical Protocol Manager module. Recipes can involve ingredients or other recipes to allow the definition of "sub-kits".
LabWare's LIMS Formulation Manager tracks the creation of kits according to recipe, and then relates these individual instances of kits to specific ingredient lots for the association of supplier information, quality control metrics, and expiry data.
Kit Storage and Distribution
Once created and issued, kits can be stored and tracked at the clinical sites using the LabWare Storage Location Manager module. Configurable shipment and movement templates enforce the clean capture of tracking information.
