 | Using LabStation, the Instrument Interfacing module, LabWare LIMS can play an important role in ensuring that biospecimen are maintained at the proper conditions by importing storage environment data from a SCADA or data logging system and executing rules-based alerts when alarm thresholds are reached. Alerts can be in the form of LIMS alerts, email, fax, or pager or can be routed to an external issue management system for more sophisticated escalation and documentation of completed contacts.
With knowledge of storage conditions, LabWare LIMS can then automatically flag specimen that are involved in a temperature excursion for appropriate follow up to determine specimen integrity and disposition. |
