Validation is a key element to a successful LIMS project, especially within the regulated industries. The configuration driven approach used during the LIMS implementation phase leads to a straightforward approach to the validation of LabWare LIMS. This is because the core product is not being changed through customization of the underlying source code and application structure. To help our customers with the validation of LabWare LIMS, we have created a comprehensive set of validation materials and software tools that help to jumpstart the validation process and guide the customer through the IQ, OQ, and PQ aspects of the validation. The basic idea is that the process of validating a LIMS is well known, however each customer will have specific documentation requirements that are dictated by their company's compliance department.
