Driving Directions Note: If you will be staying at one of the local hotels the night before the first training session, use any one of the directions below to travel to Wilmington. To get to the downtown hotels, turn onto Rte 52 South instead of Rte 52 North. To get to the hotels on Rte 202, use the Rte 202 exit on I-95 just north of Wilmington. From the Philadelphia International Airport: Wilmington Delaware is about 15 miles South of the Philadelphia International Airport on Interstate I-95. Get off I-95 at the first Delaware Ave. exit, Rte. 52 North. Continue to the traffic light and turn right onto Rte 52 North. Continue with the directions at the bottom. From New Jersey: I-295, Rte 40, and the New Jersey Turnpike all come together at the Delaware Memorial Bridge. Go across the bridge and stay to the left after the toll. When you see the sign for I-95 North, stay to the right toward Wilmington. Do not get on I-495 North. As you head North you will exit at the second Wilmington exit, Delaware Ave. (Rte 52). Proceed to the fourth traffic light and turn left on Rte 52 North. Continue with the directions at the bottom. Driving to Wilmington on I-95 from the North: Go South on I-95 toward Wilmington. Get off I-95 at the first Delaware Ave. exit, Rte. 52 North. Continue to the traffic light and turn right onto Rte 52 North. Continue with the directions at the bottom. Driving to Wilmington on I-95 from the South: Get off I-95 at the second Wilmington exit, Delaware Ave. (Rte 52). Proceed to the fourth traffic light and turn left on Rte 52 North. Continue with the directions at the bottom. From Route 52 North in downtown Wilmington: From Route 52 North (Delaware Avenue) in downtown Wilmington, stay towards the left (Pennsylvania Avenue) and continue on Route 52 for seven miles. The name of Route 52 eventually changes to Kennett Pike. Continue on Route 52 (Kennett Pike) past Winterthur. Turn left onto Burnt Mill Road. This is the next left turn after Snuff Mill Road and also the last left turn before entering Pennsylvania. Turn left again into the Oberod Estate driveway. Follow the driveway until it ends.
