These contacts can be made via phone calls, e-mails or even face-to-face discussions. Many of these contacts require follow-up actions that directly impact the lab's workload and priorities.
In order to keep vital information about these contacts, LabWare LIMS includes a sophisticated Contact Manager. This feature can be used to record any type of contact and follow-up activity, and directly relate these contacts to other data within the system.
Selecting a contact person will display all of their contacts, and pressing the Drill Down button will directly open any related data. It is even possible to associate the contact entry with Alerts, so that the user receives messages regarding this contact. From the Alert Manager, you can directly access the associated contact entry. |
