Anwenderzertifizierung

The Certify Users function is used to keep track of user certification for analyses and instruments. Certification is the process the user goes through to be accredited to run an analysis or use an instrument. Each of the Certify Users functions is controlled by a Business Rule and is active only if the corresponding business rule has been activated.

The Certification and Recertification dates along with the certification history are used to monitor the user certification status. A user must be approved to run an analysis or instrument through the User Configuration dialog.  If the certification is expired the user will not be able to see the particular analysis or instrument when entering results into the system.  Note that users are not allowed to certify themselves to run an analysis or use an instrument.

The Certification Date is the date the user was certified for the particular instrument or analysis. The Recertification Date is the date the current certification expires.

If the certification is valid the entry will display an icon of a person. If the Certification has expired the entry will display an icon of a person with a line through it.  The icons allow the user to get a quick idea of the certification status of each user.

The certification history for a user will describe the event, the responsible user, the date of the event, and any comment, which may have been added.
