Job Description
LabWare Asia Pacific is seeking Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) Sales Executive for our Philippines team. This is a great career growth opportunity to join a leading international LIMS vendor and be part of a professional organization. Successful candidates will ideally have worked in a laboratory and have experience in logical computer programming. Previous informatics and consultancy experience is a plus.
This is an exciting role with a variety of responsibilities and travel throughout the Philippines. Opportunities for global exposure and travel will also arise.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Identifying and progressing new business opportunities.
- Assisting LabWare's Technical Sales team members with providing demonstrations of LabWare LIMS and LabWare ELN to prospective and existing customers.
- Responding to prospective customer Request For Proposals, Request For Tenders, etc.
- Developing and maintaining sound customer relationships.
- Keeping prospect funnel full (i.e. the Sales Pipe Line).
- Working closely with the LabWare Project Services team.
- Traveling to visit current and future clients.
- Thrive working 100% as part of a dynamic team.
- Report directly to the ASEAN Sales Manager.
Requirements
- Have a science, laboratory, and sales background.
- You must have a strong sales background – this is not an entry-level role.
- Experience in high value $500,000 plus sales.
- Experience in complex, long term sales cycles.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English.
- Personally confident, outgoing, and thrive working in a dynamic team.
- Understanding of how laboratories work in the Philippines.
- Want a long-term career with the company.
