Unlocking Innovation Together: Highlights from LabWare’s 2025 North American Customer Education Conference (CEC)

The Arizona sun, the historic backdrop of Old Tucson, and hundreds from the LabWare community came together this April for an unforgettable week of insight, innovation, and connection at the 2025 LabWare North American Customer Education Conference. 

From first-time attendees to customers with over 25 years of LabWare experience, this year’s CEC brought together a vibrant cross-section of users across industries. It offered a unique opportunity to collaborate, learn, and explore new ways to maximize LabWare systems, delivering both meaningful value and memorable moments. 

A Week of Learning and Collaboration 

With over 100 hours of training, attendees explored topics ranging from system administration and validation strategies to ELN configuration, mobile tools, and enterprise deployment. LabWare experts and customer presenters brought practical tips, live demos, and real-world insights. 

LabWare also shared key product updates and future direction through dedicated sessions. CEC attendees gained practical insights into evolving LabWare solutions for biopharmaceuticals and pharmaceuticals, formulations, electronic quality management systems (eQMS), environmental monitoring, advanced laboratory analytics and the LabWare Integration Platform. 

Customer Spotlights and Success Stories 

Learning from peers remains a cornerstone of the CEC experience. This year’s lineup featured a diverse set of customer presentations: 

• A top-ten pharmaceutical manufacturer shared their journey of over twenty years with LabWare, now spanning dozens of sites and supporting the delivery of over 50 billion doses of medicines and vaccines annually. 

• A leading global safety organization shared how they manage over 30,000 LabWare sessions weekly using LabWare Lifecycle Tools, a set of solutions that enable efficient, compliant, and consistent system management. These tools help ensure compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 and ISO/IEC 27001, while providing traceability, repeatable deployments, and significant time savings. 

• A major drinking water provider serving over 1.4 million residents demonstrated how LabWare Mobile collects real-time field data, reduces transcription errors and supports regulatory monitoring at over 240 sites. 

• An expansive public wastewater agency supporting 2.6 million people showcased how LabWare ELN and Investigations transformed their QA processes, training tracking, and ocean monitoring program. 

• A multinational innovator in ingredient technologies highlighted an international rollout of LabWare across four sites and four languages to centralize in-process quality testing and harmonize reporting. 
• A regional leader in groundwater supply and quality serving 1.2 million residents presented their strategic approach to balancing out-of-the-box functionality with custom configurations across three use cases. 
  

What’s New from LabWare 

CEC attendees got a first look at key innovations shaping LabWare's future, including enhanced mobile capabilities, improved automation, and SaaS offerings. The LabWare team unveiled strategic product and service updates, including enhancements to the Customer Care Program, reflecting our ongoing commitment to empowering laboratories through partnership, responsiveness, and long-term value.  

Industry Leaders, Onsite 

This year’s CEC featured a select group of exhibitors whose technologies reshape modern labs. We were proud to host Körber, Mettler Toledo, Nymi, Simplica, and Waters Corporation, innovators who integrate seamlessly with the LabWare environment to elevate laboratory operations. 

From world-class cloud and web solutions to secure digital identities and intelligent automation to connected instruments and seamless data flow, these industry leaders are redefining what’s possible in laboratory efficiency, compliance, and connectivity. Their presence added immense value to the conference experience and showcased the strength of LabWare’s technology ecosystem. 

Community and Connection 

Beyond the sessions, CEC was a celebration of the LabWare community. Whether networking over coffee, reconnecting at the welcome reception, enjoying the Western-themed evening at Old Tucson Studios, or the festive closing night featuring dinner under the stars, casino games, and a high-energy live concert, LabWare CEC attendees built relationships that extend beyond the conference and drive significant real-world impact.
