 | The Explorer Table Manager allows you to manage the reference data in the LIMS database. Using a familiar explorer-type interface, you can easily add, modify and display data records, such as label printers, sampling points or users. Each type of data is stored in a different folder. You can easily navigate through the list to find a particular folder or record, and the data can be displayed in a form or as a printable version.
LabWare LIMS also supports version control on reference data, allowing you to retain details of successive versions of records. Over time, customers change address details or phone numbers, product specifications are updated, even hazard advice and analytical procedures are revised. LabWare LIMS retains the original relationship between the samples and test results, and the version of reference data current at the time the testing was performed. Within the Table Explorer you can review superseded versions of reference data.
The LabWare LIMS database is dynamic - user defined tables and fields can be added to the data structure, and these changes are automatically displayed in the Explorer Table Manager, without the need to redesign forms or data entry screens.
